Seizure dogs

I was very lucky to have a basset hound named Sam.  I got him from the Sun Coast Basset Hound Rescue. I wanted an older dog that the other people would not be interested in getting.   I ended up with a great dog named Sam that LOVED women and was able to tell when I was going to have a seizure. I am not sure if I change smells or what would happen. He could predict up to a week in advance.  He would attach himself to me and by then I did not figure it out. Lol.  He ended up having tumors and lung problems from fires.  I had to put him to sleep. I miss him every day. I am very grateful for the special surprise I received in my basset hound. I don't know if they are all able to to this. It is very interesting.
